Access Database Error

    the error occurs in my MS Access database, "The database ‘work.mdb’ needs to be repaired or isn’t a database file,"

    What is the main reason of this error?

    1. Open your MS Access program.

    2. Click on File tab > Info and then click on Compact and Repair Database.

    I am unable to run Compact and Repair command

    If any other user is using the database file that you are about to Compact and Repair, then you can’t do so. Make sure no other user is currently using the same database file. And always create a backup for the database file.

    1. Open your MS Access program, but don’t open the database file.

    2. Click on Database Tools and click on Compact and Repair Database.
