My boot record has become corrupted (due to multiple viruses) on my #1 HD and I desperately need to get files off. I have it as a slave on a 98 machine, which is FAT while #1 is NTFS. The infected one has data intact on it but I have no idea how to access it. Any utilities or maneuvering tips anyone can add? thanks

Is it at all possible to slave this hard drive on a system using the NT kernel, such as NT/2000/XP? If so, it should be a snap to get your files off, but for security reasons, you should scane every file thoroughly.
