Access Issue After Coming Home

    I leave my computer on all day. I use my computer just before work and dinner to sleep. All the program works fine. Everything works like normal.

    When I get home from work or wake up in the morning, I get the following error.
    "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

    I can't log off. I can't access any file on Desktop, Start or icon. I have to cold boot my computer. The problem just started 2 days ago. I only installed Windows Media Player 11 and Quicktime in last two days! What causing this suddenly?

    I use Windows XP SP2. I have HP a1642x 6300 CPU. I have Zone Alarm Internet Suite 6.5.
