Access router denied ?

The linksys E1200 router I have is periodically forgetting my wife's linux desktop machine access and sometimes her laptop (rebooting router usually helps). My desktop and her laptop, run Win 7 Pro. I also cannot get admin access to same router, been trying to reset "all" passwords (ie: guest and wireless) just can't get in due to it asking for a password (admin/admin doesn't work).

Anyone know how (and can guide me) thru this Please?

First sit down and write out any changes from stock you can remember or see about your router, then

will reset to factory defaults
You should be able to log in, I think log in is case sensitive so mind the caps loc.
