Access Violation at 0x7C915E22

On shut down I get this message 'Access Violation at 0x7C915E22 (tried to read from 0x100DB532) program terminated'. How can I find out which program is causing this. Shut down seems to take an inordinate amount of time to complete.

 

Hi there have you checked all your processes in msconfig to see if there is anything running that shouldn't be if not i would say you have some sort of intrusion i:e malware or virus so would advise following the link i have given making sure you follow all the instruction's and post any further details to the malware expert named in the link.

Hi RustyJack, I started working through the instructions on Malware Removal etc. Got to Java section, uninstalled the version on my machine, went to Java downloaded latest version and ran it only to find that Error 25099 Files failed. OK, went to Java help page for the worjk around, could not find jqs.exe on my machine, came out, disabled Firewall, deleted previous file, re-downloaded from the manual download page. Ran the new file with the same result. It seems like I can't instal Java 6 update 14. Curses, the version I uninstalled was Java 6 update 13. Help me Please..........
