access2000 not displaying numbers - help

Have a user that made a query and report in access 2000. If she emails the query and report to a user, they run it, the thing prints out fine. If the user runs the report/query on her machine , everything displays correctly except numbers. For example it will show page of page instead of page 3 of 10 etc. Printing on the machine produces the same results. Basically it won't show any numbers. Office 2000 premium reinstalled and all sp's applied but no luck as of yet. Anyone have any idea what's up here?

 

do you have Jet4.0 sp6 installed with MDAC 2.7?

Though the "page" call is a VB function and it should work regardless of the above, I have run into certain instances where data would not refresh at all and updating the jet and MDAC fixed the problem.

 

not sure what versions of jet and mdac are on the box but will check...thanks bro

 

note, for xp.. MDAC 2.7 is already installed..

jet does not come with MDAC anymore if you need it.

 

shes running win2000 and office2000. mdac2.6 and the latest jet it will allow which is 4.0 sp6 I think...anyway, I told her we can try upgrade to officexp and see if that helps or we can format her box and reload everything........this is the weirdest thing I have seen in a long time

 

did you make sure all the extras were installed with the filters and what not?

 

yup, happened out of the blue. Just weird I tell ya...

 

the only other thing I can think of is if someone tried to move or resize the text box that [PAGE] is inside of.. try making it bigger if it appears too small to hold the text.
