Accident Pevention - Input needed

Okay first off, I am not sure if this is the right place to post this thread, but it seemed the most fitting to me.

Two nights ago, I spilled beer all over my wireless keyboard and consequently, a lot of the buttons are sticking and wont come back up once pressed. The area affected is mostly the left side, most notably the a,s,d, and tab keys, which totally kills my gaming!

I tried pliers to get the keys off, but I dont think they are made to come off, so I dont think this thing can be cleaned. I have been planning on getting a new keyboard for awhile so this kinda pushed me to do it. I am going to get a new logitech G15 keyboard that I have been eyeing, but its pretty expensive and I would really hate to have that happen again and ruin a really nice keyboard. Your probably thinking "well, just dont be so clumsy". well that is true, to an extent, but I'm not 'abnormally' clumsy, its just with the amount of games I play, and the amount of beer I consume while playing them.... well... its bound to happen again.

A solution I thought up would be to make some sort of cup holder aparatus that was anchored to the desk somehow that I could easily grab a bottle and replace with equal ease. The problem is that no such device exists, and although I tend to think of myself as creative, I am hardly an engineer.

But there's got to be someone out there who has had the same problem and somehow found a viable solution, whether it is placement technique, or some sort of holder.

Any tips for a clumsy beer drinking gamer?
