Accounts do not balance

On my list of accounts, my main Line of Credit account seems to have a glitch. I paid off the debt (YEH!!!) and on the list of accounts, the balance owing shows $0.00. However, when I click to open the details of the account, it displays a credit of $0.93. It also indicates that I have a transaction to display but nothing is there when I try to open the transaction. I tried updating the balance to $0.00 but then my list shows a $.93 debt? This all occured after I downloaded the account directly from the bank. I did not notice and closed the session and replaced my backup so now my backup has the same problem. Any suggestions?

 

Apparently, you're using some type of financial software such as Microsoft Money or Intuit's Quicken. But, your post is very vague so I don't see how anyone can decipher exactly what you're doing there.

If you're simply saying your account balance appears incorrect when you logon to your account on the web, then I suggest you simply contact the financial institution to discuss it. If you talking about software on your computer, we need more details.

 

Sorry...I am talking about the software Microsoft Money.

I am able to list all of my accounts. On the list of all of my accounts, my balance shows as $0.00 for my line of credit. However, when I open the account details, I have a different balance. I show a credit of $0.93.

 

OK, that helps. Unfortunately, I don't use Microsoft Money, so I can't answer your question. I suggest you also post the version of Money that you are using. Hopefully, someone familiar with it will be able to assist.

Thank you. I had tried the Quick Fix but kept getting an error. I then tried to re-install and it balanced after the re-install. Not sure what happened or why but all is well. Thanks again for the help.
