Accumulators & Buffers?

I have a '94 Mercedes S500 and it looks like it's time for some rear suspension work. The buffers won't be a problem, they're just thick rubber 'globs' that fit between the frame and the sub-frame. Actually, the accumulators shouldn't be a problem to install either, just 4 bolts and 2 hydrolic lines and 1 air line. My problem will be 'bleeding' the lines once they are installed. The hydrolic fluid comes from a reservoir under the hood and is pumped back to the rear suspension via a dual-chambered power steering pump. Any ideas on how to 'bleed' those lines? I asked this at 3 Mercedes forums and no one seems to know and you can buy a service manual for this car at the cost of $850.00 from Mercedes Benz, but that just doesn't fit into the budget:cry I've searched the web and I can get the parts with no problem, but no one seems to know how to bleed them! Yeah, I could take 'Her' to the 'stealership,' but they want $1,100 to install them (per accumulator). They charge $450.00 per and I can get them online for $150.00 per! So, any ideas on the 'bleeding' operation? I honestly don't expect many answers to this, but I have to try all avenues open to me Thanks!!

Well good luck. I was searching and browsing and asking few people.. But they didnt have exact answer, and I wanst going to post a maybe answer.

 

I do appreciate your effort Silas and now you know how hard it is to find anything out when you want to work on your own Mercedes!! I can't understand why Mercedes-Benz has to be so secretive, especially on a car as old as mine. Oh well, I've already ordered the parts and, hopefully, I'll be able to start in a month, or so.
