Ace Combat Joint Assault on PSP

Not sure if there are any air combat gaming fans on the board, but the Ace Combat franchise is coming out with a multiplayer game on PSP. In the game you can play with up to 4 people completing missions or you can go up against up to 8 players in head to head combat. I'm actually working with Namco to help marketing the game, so if you have any questions, please ask!

I used to play all of the ones that came out for the PS1 and PS2. Had to quit when my last PS2 "crashed and burned" on me. Never got around to replacing it or upgrading to the PS3.
Loved the series, but my friends wife didn't care for them. (used to get airsick when my friend or myself was in some serious dogfighting action).:-D

 

I've not played the Ace combat games, but along the lines of fighter pilot games, Tom Clancy's Hawx was a good game. I played it for weeks. I'll have to try out the Ace Combat. Thanks for the suggestion, and welcome to MG1

 

Just wanted to post some new information on the game. For those that are interested, the game is being released on August 31st. The trailer for the game is also now up at the official page and can be seen here.

 

I played Ace Combat 1&2, loved both of them, actually AC2 was the last decent flight combat game I played..... Unless you count Battlestations Pacific... which has dogfighting but more geared towards boats.

 

I've got Battlestations pacific. It was really good!! I love that game, it just kinda' get redundant after a few days. But the dog fighting it outstanding. Ace combat for PSP is really good as well. There are some really good mission, along with dogfighting.

 

Forgot to mention that the game will include customization of the aircrafts, with up to 40 planes to choose from. You'll be able to pick your color and emblem, as well as your weapons, engine, armor plates, etc.

 

Pardon the double post, but we just got an official release date for the game. It will hit shelves on August 31st and can actually be pre-ordered from the retailers that are listed on this page.
