ACE should i get a new processor

ok heres what i got a p41.6ghz 400fsb L1 8 L2 256, geforce4fx5200 256 on board,512ram,160gb7200rpm hard drive, intel mobo only support 4x for apg slot. i cant oc my processor because i dont know what to do with the bois?? i got that thing u replyed to the other oc dell thread. so iam thinking to getting an amd 3000+ 64, 1.8ghz 2000fsb L1 64 L2 512

 

problem solved buying a new processor an mobo ace gave me the 411

 

Keep in mind that by this time next year, thier will be alot that will have changed and you may be regretting the upgrade if you could have waited a year, AMD's Windsor dual core with DDR 2 support Q1 2006, plus the addition of 14.4k rpm Sata drives sometime this year, not sure if they'll be Sata I or II, although they'd work at Sata I maximizing the full bandwidth.

 

umm yea i guess i can wait i can still play the games i like fine except the newer ones are a little laggy but if its worth the wait what the helll why not

 

If you need something until next year, you can get the 478 p4 2.6 400 bus for about $150 from NewEgg, long as your bios and psu will handle it.
