Well the national guard ...Every thing is going good so far... but basic is realy screwing with my head...im prolly ganna be going sometime in october.... thow i might push it back some i donno if i can get every thing ready buy then....

I prolly wont be able to get on a PC for the whole 9 weeks ...my email is *************....thay might let me check my email...i know i will be able to make phone calls from time to time....

 

Hi there SMT. Doing pretty good considering. Been running a temperature of right at 100 degrees (F of course) for a week now, and my butt's dragging a bit. No real sicky symptoms excpt for being achy all over, and tired. Normally I can get over whatever bites me, but this one may require real medical help if it doesn't pass pretty soon.

Other than that, all's well.

Just checked out your other thread. Nice little experiment you got going on there. What do you intend to fry next? Your little brother helping you out with any of it?

 

ye my bro helps from a more then safe distance ( hes pritty nevous around it ) its realy pritty safe ya just dont whanna go putting you finger in the arc ..and with my email it public here on MG in my profile......ill shoot a email your way from time to time.. email me too.. i normaly forget all about my email addy till i get mail ..

 

Thing are going well. Been really busy and all as I've been doing a little traveling. I think I had better look at getting more rest if I keep up at this pace.

Sounds like the flu bug has got you. I would suggest getting in to see a doc and picking up something for that thing. I will assume you don't like taking meds?

Ace .... I'm glad you making sure your brother stays safe but ... will he try to do this on his one when your not around?

he scared of it but realy interested ... i got him a little 7,500 transformer from an air ionizer to play with ( its like a tenth of a mA so its safe to zap your self with it all day its the = to a propane grill arc starter ) it can pull ~5mm arcs...but the main thing he into is bikes like me...Oh that reminds me i got a realy nice pic of him on his bike a fue days agow ...If i can find a place to print it out in HQ ill prolly fram it and mount it on the wall

 

Not unless they're REALLY needed. Most of the bugs that bite us are viruses, and antibiotics don't help with a virus, although the doctors automatically prescribe them anyway, just to pretend that they're doing something to justify their office charges.

If I can't kick it pretty soon, I'll give in & see the sawbones.

A friend of mine had a fever a few days ago. He didn't do much but rest and it seems to have helped. He can't take much if he gets sick as he is on other meds so he toughed it out. Seeing he and his wife left town ... I will assume he must have gotten over it.

I just got back from Toronto not long ago. Every time I go there, I get sick. I found the best way to fight it off was taking a double dose of vitamin C. So far, so good as I did manage to stave it off.

Ace, your a very luck guy. Your brother does look like he is quite a special little person. I think he looks up to you a lot. Are you going to leave him with your computer so he can get on line and send you an e-mail? That would be a great way for the both of you to keep in touch.

Maybe you should have a little chat with him about not graduating to bigger and better things until you come back. He may be scared now but he may also want to impress you when you come back.

 

Ill have a talk with him befor i leave.....he will be more likly to show off what he has learned on his bike then what he has done with electronics...Im working on a system for him now i still need to find a mobo CPU and ram thow.....its up and running now thow K6-2 500mhz and 128MB of ram ..hey it runs ....

Oh boy, don't I. Even when I am on, doesn't mean I'm actually free. Lately I have been trying to find time to do my on line studies. I would like to think that maybe I might actually have the course finished by the end of this year but .... first I need to find the time to do it.
