acer 5610-4648 bios locked out

Hi guys i have an acer 5610-4648 the bios is locked and no clue what the ex changed it too. I have already unplugged the cmos battery located under the mouse pad. Then i umpowered it for over an hour plugged in put main batery back in and stil wants the password. so i pulled the laptop all apart looking for the jumper that i have been reading about. I dont have the jumper that you can pull. I found the jumper that i do have J1 not im not sure the steps i need to short it out in order to reset it. Can any one please tell me how to get my laptop back open.

 

i tried taking a paper clip and touching j1 and the ground and no luck with that either

 

The J1 jumper.. I assume it is just 2 solder points. Get your paper clip and touch both solder points for several seconds. Make sure you have previously Earthed yourself to rid body of any Static your body might be holding and make doubly sure you only touch the J1 Jumper.

 

the j1 jumber only shows one dot / soldier spot ill see if i can get access to the other side of the board and see if there is anything on that end

 

Normally J1is your CMOS reset ... have you a manual ??/ if not go to this link http://support.acer-euro.com/documents/manuals.html

 

any manuals i find dont go into that kind of detail about the board. Only tells you basic stuff about the laptop
