    I kept losing the date and time on my laptop. I figured the battery was the original and needed replacement. I finally got the correct Maxell ml1220 rechargable coin battery. It worked well for weeks and yesterday I lost the time and dateagain. I reset it and so far s good. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions?

    hi there the problem is due to the batery is from lithium and its not getting current to charge it back from the source.
