Acer aspire 3692WLMi Drivers

hi,
i cant download the drivers from the website
ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_3690/driver/

it asks for a password which i dont know
does anyone know the problem

Hi

The ACER FTP site works fine for me in IE7 (no password needed) so what browser are you using?

also try the HTTP download area here http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_3690.html

or get Filezilla an FTP application and paste this ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/notebook/aspire_3690/driver/ URL into the HOST box in Filezilla.

Just for kicks, I figured I'd try the link from the first post, and it works for me too using both Firefox and Opera. I don't use Internet Explorer, ever, for anything on my home PC so I can't say if IE will work or not, but it should. I randomly clicked on 4 or 5 different files from the FTP list and each one started to download w/o any password prompt. It was a bit slow, but it worked just fine....
