Acer Aspire 5100 Help I cant acess my data!

Hello,

My names RoseMary I'd really appreciate any help ( I really need it)

I have an Acer Aspire 5100 (Windows Vista) and about a month ago
I had to configure my updates and so I did but now every time I turn on my laptop it will automatically say
"Configuring Updates: Stage 3 of 3 - 0% complete.
Do not turn off your computer."
then it will shut down and start all over again it will repeat the process over and over again until I turn it off.

Ive been looking for solutions but can't seem to find one
I really need help with my laptop...

Help??? =[

 

Here is a link from Microsoft with a fix for your problem. If this doesnt work, post back the results here and someone (smarter than I :-D ) might be able to help you.
