    Hi everyone,

I have an acer Aspire 5810T it stopped working on me about a year ago and I got a new laptop since then but I have now took it upon myself to try and fix the issue I gave up on last year.

When I power up laptop the laptop sounds like it is running perfect the fan goes the hard drive powers but the display doesnt show any boot up or make any noise. It flicks black and white. My first thought was a loose lcd connector I have completely dismantled the full laptop looking for loose or damaged connections all was perfect inside so re-assembled it and still get the exact same result. just black and white flickers I have tried plugging HDMI cable to put display through television but no joy.

Any suggestions at all would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards

The laptop uses an integrated Intel video chipset and it may be frazzed.
