I'm trying to run the acer eRecovery on a laptop, but when I hit Alt F10 at the Acer splash screen it just displays this screen.

Edit windows boot options for: Microsoft Windows Vista

    Path: \windows\system32\winload.exe

    partition: 2
    hard disk: d9007594

    [ /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN ]

And at the bottom of the screen it says to hit 'enter' to submit and 'esc' to cancel. I checked the bios and D2D recovery is enabled. It did this after I did a fresh install of Vista. I only formatted the C drive, didn't touch the other two partitions. Before the reinstall I was able to enter the eRecovery partition, but there was a password that I didn't know what it was. That is why i reinstalled from the Vista disc.

After the reinstall I was able to see the recovery partition under 'computer' which seems odd to me. Is that something that could be causing me problems?

Just an update on my progress. I downloaded and installed eRecovery from acer.com and I am running the recovery now. Well the program says it's going to run then it reboots the laptop and just goes right back into vista. Any Ideas??????????

Also any idea what type of partition this should be. I ran ptedit32 and it lists it as a 12. is this correct?
