Acer erecovery

    I want to recover my Acer notebook but I have forgotten my recovery password. Is there any way to restart my notebook without the password. I have tried to find my password at the PQservice partition, but couldn't find the file "aimdrs.dat."

    Does anyone have a solution to my problem.

    Notebook
    Acer aspire 2920
    Windows vista home premium
