    does anyone know where i can get a recovery disk for an acer aspire 5100.?.

    Un needed. When you first boot up, when you see the Acer splash screen, hold down ALT and press F10, repedelty, until you get to the recovery system.

    Just went through this a couple of days ago. Can't find recovery disks, and eRecovery wouldn't let me in with default password of 6 zeros. Contacted Acer fror help and they no longer support that model.
