Achivement of the day

    Today, I managed to cobble together a PC and have it boot, using only 2 sticks of 32MB ram, a Celeron 700 and a CD drive, and an old crapped up case. It worked! :D Look mum, no hard drive! :D

    EDIT : well this was in COMPLETLEY the wrong forum! Doh!

    So, what did you use to boot? I have Knoppix and Mepis on CD.

    I'm using feather to boot it. I've got another customised version of Knoppix around here somewhere but I can't find it right now. Feather loads fast and is low on resources, so it will probably do me fine :)

    smaller is better......I have a 4MB hard drive, that is both bigger and heavier than my 60G hard drive..........wobbles

    Not killing/murdering anyone was my achievement of the day... on the plus side had a few good giggles with Marea from Fuji today!! :D ooops! hijacked thread.. but it was in the wrong forum ;)
