With Acrobat 5, we used to be able to create multiple-page PDF files from multiple-page TIFF files with no problem. We simply selected the Distiller printer. For example: If the TIFF file had 19 pages, the corresponding PDF file had 19 pages.

Now, with Acrobat 6 Professional, Distiller is not a separate option and when we have a multiple-page TIFF file and send it to the PDF "printer", it creates a separate PDF file for each page in the TIFF file. Grrr... we have literally thousands of these multpile-page TIFF files. Is there a setting that we need to set to get this to work?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Hi not 100% clear on what you want to do, its me reading what you typed but if I have this correct you wish to merge PDFs with Tiff files into one PDF file?

if I got this right then.. try this >

File > Create PDF > From Multiple Files > Browse ( and you can change the type of file s Acrobat is looking for to Tiff ) open the files you want then arrange them in the correct order then when all types of files are in the list click OK
