Acrobat Problem

    Need a little help please. When I have a pdf open and try to click a link a new IE window is opened to my homepage but the link does not open. Instead I get the following error "Acrobat could not run the browser. Unknow error. (0)" If I click the OK button on the error dialogue another new IE window opens and I get the same error message - yada yada yada. The only way to break the loop is to terminate the acrobat process through task manager.

    If I do error reporting, MS comes back with a link that says it's all Adobe's problem and the Adobe website doesn't address any error like this. I can't pinpoint any particular start of the problem. I have reinstalled the latest version of Acrobat (7.0.8) twice but no help.

    I have run a number of antivirus and spyware cleaners and am clean from that respect. Any ideas?

    If you open a browser and copy and paste the link, does it work?

    I can copy the link and do a paste but it becomes a bit cumbersome when I'm probably clicking 25 or 30 links from one document (but that is a work-around I hadn't thought of!!). Thanks!!

    When your browser is open, you can hit control key + "N" key and it will open another window.As to copying....highlight , then control + "C" ....go to address bar in browser, highlight and control + "V"

    I understand Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V....but I should be able to click on a link and have IE open up and go to that link...

    Have you done any updates for it? If you click on help, do you have a detect and repair tab?
