When I try to add specific driver .inf files during the Drivers Manager stage using the bootable CD, any folder (known good files) I point the program to comes up empty. I know Acronis uses a different O/S (forgot which O/S), but is this why no entries show and is this normal?

My other question is; why do you have check the MBR & Track 0 checkboxes during the what to recover stage?

I'm not familiar with Acronis Universal Restore so I went looking to see what it is.
    I discovered a few facts:
    1. Acronis Universal Restore does not support or install plug and play drivers.
    2. You do not need to have Acronis Universal Restore installed to back up a system. You only need Acronis Universal Restore to restore a system to dissimilar hardware.

You might want to read the source page I found:

Not automatically. You have to point the program to the location of the .inf file first. That is done during the Driver Manager stage. But when I do, and point it to the folder where the driver is, nothing shows in the folder.
    That's why I'm using it.
