The advertisement area is first blank and when I click "back" or "home" then the "action cancelled" message appears.

Thanks in adavance help on this.

    Hi

What exactly do you want to do? Do you want to see the ads? Or you just don't want to see the blank spots?

I don't use any of those products, but you have ad blocking turned on somewhere. Have you gone through all your settings?

If you just don't want to see the action cancelled area and use firefox you can use Ad Block Plus https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=ad+block+plus&cat=all

It's a great add on and you don't see any of the 'remains' of ads.

OK, I installed the Ad Block Plus and worked out fine. I do want to see the ads in IE, what settings and where should I be looking at?

hmmm...since I don't use any of the products that you have, all I can say is it's probably your malware/spyware ap.

Go into your spyware terminator and check out your settings/options. Do you see anything that says block ad sites?

I use spybot and spysweeper. A lot of those ads are considered spyware. For example, one of the big ones is ad.doubleclick.net. My Spybot blocks those sites from IE. If you go into IE > Tools > Privacy > Click on 'Sites' button. Do you have anything in there being blocked?

Nothing in Spyware Terminator is blocking. IE settings have some blocking, mainly porn crap, no doubleclick.net.

I did forget to mention that sometimes the ads do show. One of the weirdest thing that happens when an ad does show and I click the "home" button and try go to the page, then the ad is gone, click "home" and the "action cancelled" message appears.
Maybe I should just say the hell with ads since everything else works fine. Heck, I hate ads on television, why not on the web!

LauraR, thank you so much for help, it is appreciate.
