active sync issues

    I have a Dell Axim X5 that has been working fine for years. I recently updated Avant Go and upon syncing get blue screen of death. I removed ActiveSync and can startup ok. As soon as I reinstall Active Sync (fresh download) and Active Sync starts up --- blue screen. I've removed all programs that have anything to do with the pda and still have the same problem with ActiveSync. Please help! Thanks.
