I know that firefox doesnt support active x controls, but why when i visit a website that has active x, norton pops up and says if i want to allow active x to run. I delibertaly have norton to prompt me for active x. I thought that you are safe with firefox from having bad active running on websites.

    Thanks

firefox will not support it so even if norton prompts you i ll guess it will not run anyway

You said it yourself, you set Norton to warn you of Activex and it's doing its job. Norton doesn't know what browser you're using so just turn Norton's setting for activex off.
