Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result the page may not display correctly.
this is a pop up warning I get I have just downloaded a program called 123 flash menu and it gives me this warning on startup, In my internet settings all my active x options are either set to allow or prompt where else can I find a x settings? XP Pro

Usually, its a third party app causing the problem if indeed active x isnt working and you have it enabled in security settings.

firewall, popup blockers, spyware, I've seen them all do it.

Quick, howie, before Adrynalyne gets out the drowning bag ...

Look HERE, in the MSKB, especially at the Shockwave stuff.

Let us know if that doesn't get to the problem.

@Adrynalyne, checked all my third party apps no references to A X found in any of them, sygate firewall, avg, spy bot and ad-aware

@Wisewiz, I checked all the relevent info in the KB and still the same result.

It was a trial I got from here http://www.dreamingsoft.com/index.htm?ref=123flashmenu I guess I will just uninstall it and find something similar
I don't think I want a program on my comp that I have to mess with my security settings to use.
    thanx for the help Guys
