Active x

Hi, new here and need some help. My active x has gotten messed up and I need to know if someone can tell me how to fix it..........Thanks.

 

ActiveX is a technology, not a "thing" really. What about ActiveX is messed up?

 

Well, it all started when I got a new digital camera, and I installed the software for it. After that, my computer programs were working very sluggish, everything was just messed up. So after doing a scan disk and disk defrag, I decided to reinstall window me to see if that would fix things. Well, then I got locked out of windows and had to get advice on how to get back in. Now when starting windows I get an active x error #429, active x component cannot create object...............

 

Even if your Camera Came with Software, You should look on the Manufacturer's Website to see if they have update drivers for your model # and OS.

One of your running services is tying up your ActiveX service.

 

I would disable your start up items in msconfig ONE at a time and reboot to find out what is loading that is causing the problem. Then resintall or upgrade the software for it.

Also, make sure you have all the patches for your OS.
