Active X

Everytime I go to this website called iamgame.com it keeps telling my that my security setting won't allow activeX controls to download and to click install and when I do that my screen freezes up. I am using suns java program could that be the problem? I know microsofts java program is no longer on my system or microsoft has quit using it or something of that nature. Please help I am very confused.

 

Welcome to MajorGeeks. I cannot seem to duplicate the problem you are having. Have you visited the site before without problems? Are you using Internet Explorer as your browser?

 

yes I have visted the site before without problems. yes internet explorer is my default browser.

 

Well maybe check your security settings and tell us what they are for internet explorer. Also make sure you have the latest version of java installed by going to it in your control panel and selecting the up[date tab, then clicking the check updates button. Once that is done come back and tell us how things are running.
