ActiveX Not Working

My Computer is running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2. Whenever I update Office or Windows the ActiveX controls won't load no matter what I do. I've changed security settings, deleted all of the files and cookies, changed office.microsoft.com to Trusted. How can I fix this?

 

Try this:

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each line:

Note: Click OK after each when you are prompted to do so. Sometimes there's a little lag-- you'll see what I mean.

regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 /u wintrust.dll
regsvr32 /u initpki.dll
regsvr32 /u dssenh.dll
regsvr32 /u rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 /u gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u sccbase.dll
regsvr32 /u slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u cryptdlg.dll
regsvr32 /u softpub.dll
exit

Restart your computer.
