Ad-Aware keeps turning off

    Hi guys/gals!
    I am new to the forums and a relatively literate w/ computers but am having a problem. My Ad-Aware keeps turning off. I have read the malware removal guide and done, with success, everything listed-nothing came up on any scans.
    Is there something I am missing?
    Also, when I run HiJackThis, I can not delete anything.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    if you are using spybot search and destroy it may pay to turn off the teatime function.i recall when i used both these products there was an issue with them both.
