Ad Aware SE Prof 1.03

    Can any one out there please help.

    Have loaded Ad Aware on system running Win ME.

    Since doing so have lost all file associations.

    I cannot run any windows utilites (systme restore etc) to get back from this position.

    Managed to uninstal Ad Aware but problem persists.

    Any body got any ideas.

    Lavasoft have not returned my e-mails.

    It seems that this is not uncommon problems based on their forum site.

    Thanks for any help that is forthcoming.

    Can you boot into Safe Mode and run Ad-aware?

    I have now deleted ad aware, hoping that it would resolve the situation.

    Unfortunately not!!

    Any suggestions?

    Even in safe mode there are no file associations.

    I am unable to run any programs in either mode.
