Adaware 1.81 Question

i'm using build 162... when i check the lavasoft website it says there will no longer be support for the previous builds so does this mean i won't be able to get any more updates? thanks....

 

no reason... i just wanted to find out if i would still get updates without having to uninstall my current build and then install the new build... that's all...

 

You should be able to install 181 over all previous builds and not lose anything. 181 was been much better that previous v6 builds, which tended to be very slow in scanning.

 

I don't believe the reference files for the new version are compatible with the old version.

 

Agree with Robo. Sometimes you gotta move with the times, otherwise we'd all still be using DOS. Uninstall your (old) version of AdAware, clean your Registry (just in case), install the latest version and consign your old version to " the good old days memories". Bazza
