Adaware and spybot question

When you use these two programs is it best to use them in the safe mode or does it matter? Also when they show you what they feel you should delete, do you just check all of them and trust they know what they are doing or do you suggest trying to figure out what looks OK and what doesn't.

 

Its always best to scan for spyware and viruses in safe mode because the files will not be in use as they would be in normal mode. Most of the time these 2 program do NOT detect good items, now if your like me, I use Date Manager but it comes with adware which every program will detect this. If you want to keep it you will have to de-select it. Other than things like that you can trust what it finds.
