Adaware problem, maybe more

I got nailed by a ton of spyware, etc a couple weeks ago. I use adaware and spybot religiously, never come up with any problems. Came home from work a couple weeks ago and turned on my computer and it went berserk with message about spyware from spybot. Ran the Tango, Stinger and Norton found nothing, Spybot cleaned out a few things, but I can't get Adaware to work anymore. Everytime I try to run it, it will start finding thins and run a a minute. Then I will get a popup box that says "System Shutdown, the shutdown was initiated by NT Authority/shutdown, DCOM Server process Launcher Service Terminated Unecpectedly". Then the computer reboots!!!

I cleaned out a lot of crap on my own, but have 2 programs that I keep deleating from the start menue that won't go away. One is "initial", whenever I startup I get a message"windows cannot open the file initial.cfg" and have to close the window. The other is "mcprocessor". Not sure if these are windows files it won't let me remove from startup, or part of the problem.

Any help would be graetly appreciated. My machine is running OK, but Adaware is finding a lot of crap before it shuts down, and I would love to get rid of it.

Think you may be talkingover my head, not sure what you are asking. I believe windows updates are current, and have tried running Adaware in safe mode, didn't help

 

it sounds like the box that pops us is the saser worm. i got it on my computer within the first week of purchase and i kept wondering why my computer kept shuting down. Microsoft might still have the anit virus for it, which finds the worm and takes it off of your computer. It had been a while though so you might have to search a little bit to find the anti virus if Microsoft does not have it.
