I have bellsouth DSL internet. It came with a wireless router and modem in one, but the wireless is 802.11b. I just bought an 802.11g Netgear router, so can I hook up that router to my old router, or do I have to buy a dsl modem that doesn't have a router built in? If I can do so, why isn't mine working? I can connect to the Netgear fine, but the internet is the only thing that won't work. When I go into the web configuration thing, it says the WAN port's ip is 0.0.0.0, so I can't get it to get an internet connection from my b router/modem. Any clues? Thanks!

If you can, turn off Wireless on the Modem, and with it, connect the LAN port on the new router/WiFi to the LAN port on the modem. Make sure that you turn DHCP off on the new router before connecting to the modem, and it should pick up a IP from the Modem/All-In-One.

Thanks, worked great! I kept think I had to run a wire into the WAN port, but LAN to LAN with DCHP off on the new router works fine. I appreciate it.
