Ok so my RAID0 that I had for a couple years finally gave up the ghost. one of my drives has died, so much for my data. What I am wondering is, if I start over, could I build a RAID1 with my one good drive, to which I will add a second drive to later, since I can't really afford to buy one right now?

maybe it depends on my RAID controller?
