Add/Remove Program need help!

I dont know all tht much about computers so i joined to this site to hopefully learn more and i dont know if this thread is suppose to be n this section or if it is suppose to be bummped to a different section.

Anyway i have a laptop windows xp and i was just wondering what programs i can delete from the "Add/Remove Programs" section to make more space and make my pc run faster. i have a list of them. Also if you now anyway else to make more room on the pc or make it run faster please share your knowledge thank you. my e-mail is flamedowg@yahoomail.com
