Add/ Remove Program question

    Can you uninstall a program from the program files in C Drive? I wanted to uninstall RealPlayer but it's not in Add/Remove programs. Don't know why it wasn't there. tnx

    When you go into your programs file and look in the RealPlayer file, is there an uninstall option? If so, yes. If you just delete that folder, it does not uninstall the program.

    I would suggest downloading Revo Uninstaller: http://majorgeeks.com/Revo_Uninstaller_d5706.html

    Locate the program, click on it, and hit uninstall.

    there is no uninstall option when i opened the Real folder in program files.

    I would suggest installing Revo then by clicking on the link I just gave you.

    Realplayer should be listed and you should be able to uninstall it that way.

    Revo is a great program to have installed.

    i ran revo but it found no RealPlayer. i had RealPlayer before and deleted it from add/remove prog. the RealPlayer i have now, i downloaded it as like part of a package when i installed google chrome.

    it's ok now. i contacted RealPlayer, and they just asked me to download it again then remove it. tnx anyway.

    Glad you got it figured out. I was looking for some things about it online and wasn't finding anything. I was going to suggest a reinstall and uninstall.
