Add Remove Programs - Can't remove some programs

I get a "cannot load initialization file" message when I try to remove specific programs with Add Remove Programs in Windows XP.

I have multiple versions of "MedAlert (Palm)". After removing the two latest versions, I am left with multiple instances that can't be removed. Is there a way to go beyond what Add Remove Programs does.

CCleaner offers the option of deleting the references, but I'm not sure if I should do that.

CCleaner also has an Add/Remove type of utility.... I also recommend Revo Uninstaller. It's free and does a great job of removing stuff. It can be a bit confusing at first, but it has help guides if you get stuck. Download Revo from here:
