    Welcome to MG, Jen!

What's the program's name? What exactly does it say in the Add-Remove list?

You could try going to Start/programs and see if it's listed there. Often one of the choices there is "uninstall". Also check the program file folder in the C: drive and look for an uninstall in there.

Is there a readme file in the folder in program files? Sometimes they contain instructions for an uninstall. Or you could try one of the many uninstallers here at MG. here's one:

For the rest type uninstaller into the search field.

    IIC files

    Hi folks,
am new to all this but have been having a battle recently with some files trying to gain access to the internet.
They all start 'iic' with a random hexadecimal number after theiic bit.
My firewall intercepts them but they generate prefetch files (or used to until I downloaded a Prefetch manager utility) I have two files currently sat in the Local Settings\Temp folder of the Documents & Settings area of my Hard Drive.
    any ideas??
