added memory

    I recently installed more memory in my laptop (512 to 1025) is ther any thing else i should do to make good use of the added memory or will the system put the added memory to good work for me?

    Sony Vaio Laptop
    Win XP Home

    No, you don't need to do anything else. The memmory will be used when/if it's needed all by itself.

    Well as an aside you could go to 'services' and turn off all the baggage that xp turns on at boot by default. If you wanna know more go to www.blackviper.com and selectively turn off services a few at a time.
