Adding an AVI to my program?

    I can't figure out how to get an AVI to play in my VB 6.0 program can someone pleace give me a step by step tutorial on how to get an AVI to play in a VB 6.0 program?

    Is there a reason that you are using VB 6.0? I would suggest that you download the free version of VB.NET. It's a much better language and is not outdated.

    However, if you really want to add a video file, the easiest way would be to use a Windows Media Player control. Go to the Projects->Components->"Insertable Objects" tab and select the Windows Media Player control.

    That will add it to your toolbar and you can drag one into your application.
