adding bigger hard drive?.

    :)hello. iam adding a bigger hard drive its an 20.gig, dont need very large hard drives. main one is 10.2 . prob is knowing the right place etc, and ribbon to use and such is necessary to me. want to format the other and partision if all necessary etc?. and transfer all over to the 20 gig. have ie7, win xp-pro w/sp-2 ie7, pld pc name matsonic.have a asus dvd-cd-rom s5220/as quiet track model. ty.

    Also most hard drives come with a CD that will move your system on to the new drive (clone). Notice Symantec (newer versions) may be disabled on the new drive and need to be reisntalled (happens to me no matter what cloning prg I use). If you didn't get a CD, go for the Ultimate Boot CD it has all the manufactures boot disk in one - nice to have around.
