I have been using a similar format for all my handouts: Subject left, topic / title in the middle and page number with page numbers - updating automatically - on the left. This was a piece of cake until 2007 came along... Now the principal of a computer centre cannot figure out either how to include all the elements in the header... . :cry Anyone?

Click Insert > Header and select 'blank three columns'. Then click on each 'type text' and select page number or date and time from the ribbon, or just type your text.

I am relatively new to Office 2010 (similar to Office 2007), and I have used Office 2003 before.

Whenever I come to a task that is different from Office 2003, I use Office Help. I always find what I am looking for.
