    Hi

You need to patch the uxtheme.dll file to allow non signed themes to be used in Vista, the majority of themes for Vista has never and will likely never be signed off by Microsoft as passing the quality test, however many are very good packages.

As patching the dll is changing the original dll file with a non standard one, the following is purely upto you if you decide to do this, but make a system restore point and backup any important data and files first as this is on your own head to do.

Be in Admin account when doing this,

First get and run Vista Glazz as its the best automated way of doing this, the way I did it was to manually do it the oldschool way.

Then paste the themes files into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and there should be for good themes packs a Windows Theme File and a Folder with a Visual Styles file, shell folder and en-US folder which is launguage files.
