My c drive is getting full and I have a usb of 128GB that I would like to use permanently.
My question is how do I make that an extention of my C drive,so that my computer does not soon freeze due lack of space.
I think I know how,I go to my computer right click on the drive Im talking about, then what do I put in there?:confused

Thanx I know what that usb is.
What I mean,as my c drive is nearly full and cannot clean anymore,if/when i put the usb, will it automatically begin using that space on the usb?:)

Put the usb stick , go to My Computer - open it - go to your movie for instance right click - choose Removable Disk as your choice and transfer your data in to usb memory !! :wave

Sorry,I must not be making myself clear.
Would that stick, just act as an extension of my C drive, for normal usage of my computer?:)

If I understand correctly what you're trying to do, you want the flash drive to be 'automatic' spill-over space for your C-drive. As far as I know, the answer is no. To your OS the flash drive is just another discrete hard drive.

With some programs you can specify in the program that temp files or data files be written to another disk rather than to the disk on which the program resides. There's no way I know of to tell the OS to do that other than pointing the OS's TMP and TEMP environment variables to the flash drive when the OS needs to create temp files, but then the OS may complain (Path Not Found) or worse if you boot and the flash drive isn't in place.

Of course you can move data files off C-drive onto the flash drive to free up space on C-drive, but I'm sure you already knew that.
