I am about to install a hard drive. If I purchase a Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium w/SP1 64-bit-System Builder License and Media - 1 PC will that be all I need or am I going to have to spend more money to keep it working?

I don't understand why some go for less that $100 while others are close to $200.

    Please explain, thanks!

If you already have a licence on your current computer with an operating system already installed it should be transferable to the new hard drive.

The price of the licence depends on the site you are purchasing it from and the version of the licence you are buying.
