admin disable registry

since i faced so many restarted... and can't go back to the thread is started caz once i go back it restart my pc. so i hv to start a new one and probly i can only view it and can't reply but i reallly need help.

i never go to admin account since i reformat my pc, i reformat caz it restart the pc on itself. and it's because of the registry value. i use tune-up ultility to tried to clean the registry. but it restart everytime i do so. and i go Run>type in regedit. it's said the adminstrator is disable the registry. i have 2 account on my pc. and i never touch anything in Admin acc. i did every steps that ppl provided to me but it still won't work. so i scanned virus, spyware and nothing but only malware. it found a wrong value of the registry and it won't allow me to jump to registry to change the correct value so i hv no other choice. i hv to ask ppl out there to help me enable back my registry editing or registry system. w/e. the key is

HKEY_USER:S-1-5-21-1202660629-1592454029-839522115-500\software\microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System"DisableRegistryTools". () <-------- that key is found and it's the one that disable it. it found by ad aware scans. and here's another 1

HKEY_Local_MACHINE:software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\winlogon"shell" (explorer.exe) "C:\windows\eksplorasi.exe <------------- for this 1 the folder is keep making by itself. and some other folder is repeated and once i open it, it appear as My Documents.





sorry for the long problems. as in other words. how to enable registry. and i'm so sorry for flaming the forum. some1 plz help me thx

 

i'm sorry for wut i did. becaz i got a old and kinda slow pc and i used "speed up ur pc tut" from CNET.com i'm using Window xp pack 2 Home edition. and i already tried to go on safe mode into admin account. so u mean to put password for admin account? and from here that i can post and views because i just restore to my old point i made. and it will gather things up again in few days and i got to restore again if i do something with it...

 

i did, i restored to the point i can, not the very first. it's incomplete. after i restored. i tried to run regedit it still said the admin is disable the registry?
do u kno how to enable it?

 

Click Start > Run and type this command exactly as given below: (or Copy and paste)

Now, you should be able to launch the Registry Editor.

wow, it really works. now i can edit the registry thx steve. thx a million. from now on i must hv more protection. any suggestion for full protection?

Remember what TimW suggested, be careful messing around in the registry and backup the important stuff.
